Person who will take role of application support engineer shall be passionate on open source technologies and eager to embrace new technological products and bring them on operational level securing deployments, operational monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning. Thinking scripting and automation before manual is a key.The person who will take this position shall be open-minded, enthusiastic self-taught and ready to teach other colleagues. Inspired for latest technologies and ready to promote them within organization and outside.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Support Engineer will mainly focus and act as IT responsible for existing as well as future applications, securing their availability as well as contribution to the design to meet increasing requirements from business and market perspective. Will be part of the IT Integrations & Application Support team. Among other task, principle responsibilities are:

•         Quality Assurance in production environment both classical data center and cloud environment.

•         Troubleshoot and resolving incidents (2nd line) including on call support.

•         Conducting root cause analysis and problem management.

•         Taking care of IT relevant support processes and documentation.

•         Contribution in IT security design of applications and their ecosystems.

•         Taking part and contributing to projects related to relevant applications.

•         Taking over new applications from projects and bringing them into operations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

•         University degree or equivalent working experience

•         Being familiar with ITIL and Agile fundations

•         Windows Server – 2008/2012R2 – administration and configuration

•         IIS – administration and configuration

•         Networks – troubleshooting, basic knowledge of protocols, firewalls, routing, loadbalancing

•         Linux basics

•         MS SQL basics
