Position Summary

The Business Support Analyst assists Senior Vice Presidents with collecting, entering, processing, and analyzing data.  Creates presentations and organizes meetings.  Support Senior Vice Presidents with schedule management and travel arrangements. 



Essential Job Functions

  • Prioritizes, screens, routes and answers routine correspondence not requiring Executive’s attention to ensure timely and accurate responses; flags all critical information for SVPs attention.
  • Coordinate activities necessary to successfully accomplish SVP business plans and results.
  • Researches, compiles and analyses sales results, pricing analysis, competitive and trend information; make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Create monthly management reports and communicate results to engage the teams.
  • Maintain files, spreadsheets, records, and publications in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with suppliers to coordinate product introduction, sample requests, issue resolution, and needed follow- up.
  • Maintains Senior Vice President’s calendar; schedules appointments; coordinates meetings and travel itineraries; assists with expense reports.
  • Organizes work load to meet internal and external departmental deadlines.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results needed.
  • Other projects as assigned.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or in Graduate school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising and/or related field required
  • Strong technical aptitude including advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and flowcharting tools; Experience with Visio is a strong plus.
  • Must be well organized and possess ability to handle multiple responsibilities under constant deadlines with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.  
  • Must possess good communication, presentation, interpersonal, project and organizational skills.
