Job Description


Requires High School diploma and 2-3 years of Circle K retail management experience.  Must be self-motivated to accomplish all assigned duties and meet all deadlines; manage multiple activities and maintain attention to detail.  Must have reliable transportation and cover other training facilities during vacations or as needed.  Must be able to communicate professionally with people at all levels within the company and maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanor at all times.  Must follow federal, state, and company guidelines.  Experience with MS Office applications required.

Essential Duties:

  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate computer-based New Employee Training Program (NETP) courses.
  • Provide uniform(s), nametag and new hire paperwork to all trainees during training.
  • Manage and account for uniforms; report monthly.
  • Keep current on all CORE and SEBU specific training courses.
  • Review company policies and procedures with new employees.
  • Perform multiple tasks accurately in a fast paced and detail orientated environment.
  • Communicate with store personnel and management verbally and in writing using MS Office applications.
  • Assist with scheduling other training programs; obtain/produce training materials, notify attendees, secure training location and coordinate any room setup needs.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to company policies and governmental regulations.  Advise management of opportunities.  Maintain required record keeping.  Submit paperwork in a timely manner. 
  • Provide special emphasis on Restricted Sales training.
  • Conduct brief verbal orientation of Company by presenting in a professional speaking voice to new hires.
  • Maintain training facility, which may include cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting equipment, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary; contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Work Environment: The work environment described below is an example of those an employee will experience while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations will be considered to assist those individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks and functions of the job.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.   The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
