The Sr. Manager Foodservice Design is responsible for supporting the Global Foodservice organization through effective Foodservice layout, design, equipment selection, roll-out project management, coordination and logistics of all North America Foodservice categories to include Cold Dispensed, Hot Dispensed and Fresh Food.  He/she also supports projects and coordinates product information and best practice sharing with local resources in Europe and North America. Support of new category offers are to include AutoCAD designs, equipment platform evaluation, equipment specifications, equipment forecasts, concept manual creation, logistics tracking and overall supplier performance / reporting. He/she will be responsible to create and communicate Foodservice design layout principals to all North America Business Units working very closely with BU CAD design personnel.


  • Responsible for designing, creating and communicating Foodservice design principles, equipment specifications, equipment utility requirements and equipment costs to local BU CAD design, marketing and project management  resources
  • Support Global Concept team with equipment specifications, AutoCAD layouts and concept manual creation
  • Support NTI team and Facility teams on Foodservice designs for NTI’s and Impact Remodels as needed
  • Support North America Car Wash Team and Private Brand team as needed for specifications and concept manual creation / updates
  • Calculate and compare equipment total cost of ownership to include equipment cost, maintenance cost, utilities, installation and life of machine.
  • Support equipment procurement opportunities as needed
  • Manage large scale Foodservice roll-outs with AutoCAD design layouts, external survey suppliers, equipment consolidation and project management as needed for BU support. No task too small or too big supporting our Business Units
  • Track and report on roll-out progress across all North America Business Units.
  • Actively participate in category development project teams to create new offers and support Foodservice Execution Team and BU to pilot new ideas, offers and innovations for future category growth
  • Support the process with local Category, Execution, Food Safety and Quality Assurance teams in new development, creation, sourcing, ordering, installation for all new concepts and pilot ideas as needed
  • Ensure global concept framework standards and guidelines are clear and followed in regards to all local BU development
  • Analyze effectiveness and performance of new concepts, provide reporting and offer input for improvements; how to minimize costs and maintain quality/safety standards
  • Plays a key role to ensure optimal collaboration and communication with key stakeholders and within the various networks
  • Engage in regular BU and market visits; Participate in relevant industry events
  • Flexible with working hours and travel to support all global ways of working

    Higher relevant education (5 years) or experience equivalent

    Additional relevant education a plus

    Fluent in English (oral and written)

    AutoCAD proficiency required


  • Experience in leadership, team building, project management and training.
  • Strong skills in collaboration, cooperation, communication and organization
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in FMCG, retail and/or Foodservice industry
  • Experienced with relevant Microsoft business suite software and other industry programs
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written
  • Experience from working with concept design and construction
