Job Summary:

The VP Fuel Supply & Trading role will report to the Executive Vice President,  Commercial Optimization within the  Circle K team. This role will be responsible for driving strategy related to Fuel sourcing and associated asset management related to fuel sourcing.  This role is a member of the Commercial Optimization leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for procuring all liquid fuels (approximately 15 billion gallons annually), including oversight of associated commercial risk and hedging activity.
  • Responsible for business development and strategy related to our terminals as well as commercially optimizing terminals in our current portfolio.
  • Owns and manages vendor relationships with refiners and suppliers to drive partnership and collaboration.
  •  Collaborate cross functionally to identify and address fuel supply opportunities across the business
  • Develops overall strategy for fuel supply that aligns and supports ACT strategic plan.
  • Holds key leadership role as part of ACT Global Fuel leadership.
  • Responsible for leading and developing team
  • Motivate and Lead fuel supply team including members in North America and Europe

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree highly preferred
  • 20 years of experience with focus on fuel supply and trading, global experience preferred and strong history working with multiple PADD’s within North America
  • Proven track record of leading commercially focused team with consistent financial delivery
  • In-depth understanding of fuel trade and supply
  • Ability to build formal and informal networks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate to all audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment
