
Training Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for designing comprehensive training program for the team including onboarding, technical skill and systems development, and process overview.
Manage the implementation of training programs, including scheduling sessions, coordinating trainers, and ensuring logistical arrangements are in place.
Lead cross-functional meetings to align training initiatives with overall business strategy and objectives as well as development of training materials.
Track training metrics and use data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Responsible for identifying areas for improvement within the existing business process and developing solutions.
Communicating proposed process changes to stakeholders, gaining buy-in, and managing the implementation process.
Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
4+ years relevant retail experience at the store level strongly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles
Experience with technical delivery platforms and learning management systems desired.
Strong communication skills required.
Self-directed and self-motivated problem-solver, comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and continually prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as new projects are assigned.
Must possess strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Technical aptitude to learn and understand the latest tools and use them to make recommendations for training.
Must exhibit enthusiasm and desire to advance self and others personally and professionally.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Physical Demands: Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and use of keyboard/computer. Work requires occasional bending, reaching and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Work is subject to tight deadlines and interruptions can be stressful.
Will require some travel.
