Job Summary

The Real Estate Analyst will assist the Negotiations team in tracking, evaluating and negotiating condemnations and expropriations throughout North America.  The selected candidate supports the company goals by developing strategies to ensure efficient communication, maximize profitability and minimize risk in dealing with internal and external stakeholders. 

Essential Functions

  • Communicate with the Business Unit representatives to ensure awareness of existing or pending condemnation proceedings
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the condemnations process and maximize internal value
  • Manage the condemnations tracking process and provide timely reporting and analytics
  • Negotiate favorable business and pricing terms while protecting company interests
  • Supervise external consultants and vendors
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.  Prefer concentration in finance, real estate or a quantitative field
  • Previous experience in a condemnation focused role preferred
  • Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal/external stakeholders (senior management, landlords, attorneys, etc.)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment
  • Team player with professional demeanor
