JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides daily desk side and remote end-user support for a variety of software and hardware issues in multiple corporate support center offices and for field staff employees.

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide courteous, professional end user support. Answer incoming client calls English (French is desirable) Create tickets through the desktop support ticketing system; tracks daily activating using desktop support ticket tracking application Troubleshoots and repairs/replaces desktop or laptop computer hardware, peripheral devices and printers. Supports a wide variety of application and operating system software particularly Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite and including any other application software in widespread use Provides hardware, operating system, and application support, including telephone support, for local and geographically distributed user communities connecting to the corporate network using VPN technologies. Remote software configuration, installation, and repair Performs other projects and tasks as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT Technician Excellent verbal and communication skills French speaking/writing is desirable Ability to effectively analyze and evaluate information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals. Good knowledge on:

Windows environments (a must)

Active Directory Account Creation

Office 365 Licensing

Must have: SCCM

Nice to have: CUCM, CUCA, Exchange, Lansweeper, LogmeIn, Azure

Able to work between 10h00–20h00 (Eastern standard time) Physical Demands: Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and use of keyboard/computer. Work requires occasional bending, reaching and lifting/moving up to 35 pounds. Work is subject to tight deadlines, interruptions, and can be stressful.
