We’re looking for a talented marketer to join our Global Marketing team. As we continue to grow our business, we are looking to expand our team and capabilities. You’ll be a key leader in this transformation, working together with our team to help extend and improve our consumer experiences and drive growth across the business.
The Director of Media role leads the strategy and team in the development, execution, and evaluation of all brand digital, social media, traditional media and CRM marketing campaigns and related activities by providing analytical insights, reporting and actionable intelligence to help guide the decision-making process.
- Social Media: Establish a social media strategy which builds a global brand presence with a cohesive local presence maintained by the individual business units. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align on a strategy and develop relevant campaigns on a limited budget. Develop toolkits and recommendations for social media best practices and guidelines.
- Digital Media: Establish a digital media strategy to reach customer and store segments effectively while building equity in the Circle K brand and key programs. Includes management of SEO, SEM, and global website CircleK.com. Develop toolkits and recommendations for digital media best practices and guidelines.
- Traditional Media: Oversees and provides direction for media plans on national campaigns. Develop toolkits and recommendations for traditional media best practices and guidelines. This includes radio, out of home, direct mail, point of purchase and other print elements.
- CRM Channels: Creates personalization and channel media strategy and campaigns across CRM channels including text, email, mobile app, newsletters, internal store displays and Gas Station TV. At the point where communicating with the most engaged customers, build a media and campaign strategy for traffic and brand affinity.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads social, digital, CRM channels and traditional media marketing campaigns throughout the program life cycle – concept, execution, post-mortem
- Develop standard reporting/analytics deliverables for media campaign initiatives; Prepares materials, documents and data related to various marketing campaigns and initiatives and shares it across the organization.
- Pro-actively engages internal and external stakeholders to assist in the planning, preparation and execution of social, digital and traditional media marketing campaigns and related activities. This includes but is not limited to strategic media and creative agencies, the global brand team, art designers, copywriters, media buyers, printers, and internal analytics and digital platforms team.
- Collaborates closely with global teams and local/regional support departments including Marketing & Merchandising teams, Loyalty/Digital/Personalization teams, Category Management teams, Global Analytics, Procurement, etc.
- Coordinate all activities and ensure effective implementation with high success rates; Facilitates optimal collaboration and communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and within the various networks of the specific campaign
- Develops internal and external presentations as needed for business reviews; Creates storylines and overlays strategic messages into professional presentations
• Collaborate with key vendor partners to take insights published by vendors and package for distribution throughout the network. Gather in-depth studies as well as topline recaps for publishing on a regular schedule
- Flexible with working hours to support global ways of working
REQUIREMENTS
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.
- The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
