Job Description

OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a talented marketer to join our Global Marketing team.  As we continue to grow our business, we are looking to expand our team and capabilities.  You’ll be a key contributor in this transformation, working together with our team to help extend and improve our consumer experiences and drive growth across the business.

The Manager, Campaign Management role supports the development, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns and related activities by providing analytical insights, reporting and actionable intelligence to help guide the decision-making process.

  • Campaign development: Supports the ideation and development process by coordinating with internal and external stakeholder resources, modeling financial impacts, and developing campaign KPI’s. This role will focus on loyalty/rewards programs and payment programs.
  • Campaign execution: Supports execution phase by presenting key reporting metrics, offering performance insights, and identifying opportunity gaps to program success.
  • Campaign post-mortem: Supports the evaluation of campaigns by providing key post-mortem insights, actionable learnings, and general performance reporting, partnering with internal and external partners to gather data.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a love for retail and the guest experience, thinking about how you could design campaigns, products and services that make their lives better.
  • Proven collaborator– able to get things done without formal authority or reporting relationships, working across functions, geographies and levels to make things happen. You seek collaboration, not control.
  • Build a compelling business case for making things happen – blending art and science to influence others, showing a strong bias for impact over activity.

Circle K has a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, and our business reflects this spirit.  We are looking for someone who wants to put his or her own fingerprints on the organization and help contribute to the growth and direction of the company in a meaningful and personal way.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports marketing campaigns throughout the program life cycle – concept, execution, post-mortem
  • Develops and coordinates standard reporting/analytics deliverables for campaign initiatives; Prepares materials, documents and data related to various marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Supports the development of campaigns by participating in the ideation phase; provides ad-hoc support relevant to defining campaign objectives (traffic, sales, GP)
  • Pro-actively engages internal and external stakeholders to assist in the planning, preparation and execution of marketing campaigns and related activities
  • Collaborates closely with global teams and local/regional support departments including Marketing & Merchandising teams, Loyalty/Digital/Personalization teams, Category Management teams, Global Analytics, Procurement, etc.
  • Works closely with BUs to coordinate all activities and ensure effective implementation with high success rates; Facilitates optimal collaboration and communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and within the various networks of the specific campaign
  • Shares research and insights with local BU teams; Gathers feedback and input from BUs on needs, trends and localized consumer insights, where applicable
  • Participates in global team meetings and other forums as needed
  • Ad hoc problem solving and day to day tasks as needed to support the needs of campaign initiatives
  • Flexible with working hours to support global ways of working

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred, and/or 3-5 years marketing or business experience.
  • Intermediate BI knowledge; ability to both apply and interpret data practically for use in real-world scenarios
  • Prior experience building campaigns for customer loyalty/rewards programs and payment (company debit card or other) programs.
  • Advanced skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & related Microsoft suite products
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple activities, and retain strong detail orientation.
  • Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities as described above.
  • Must be able to follow state, federal and company guidelines.
  • Must be able to maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
