The Director – Retail Systems Digital and Loyalty role will provide leadership for Digital and Loyalty systems in North America. The position is responsible for the planning, development, testing, implementation and support of Retail Systems Digital and Loyalty technology. This individual will apply proven communication, problem-solving and leadership skills to guide and assist teams comprised of both business and technical resources to complete projects and support production systems in our company-owned stores in North America.


  • Retail Systems Digital and Loyalty Technology Strategy and Roadmaps: Develop and maintain the strategy and plans for Retail Systems Digital and Loyalty Technology in conjunction with the Enterprise Architecture team and Enterprise Innovation Team.  
  • Retail Systems Engineering and Testing: Lead the teams and vendors responsible for developing and testing Digital and Loyalty system changes.
  • Retail Systems Deployment and Support: Lead the teams and vendors responsible for Deployment and Support of Digital and Loyalty system changes.
  • People Management and Organizational Development: This role will be responsible for talent management of the team and organizational development as the Retail Systems team continues to evolve to meet business requirements.
  • Financial Management: This role is responsible for the budget and management of the operational and capital budget associated with this function.


  • Masters degree in IT field or equivalent combination of education and experience-based learning. MBA is preferred.
  •  10+ years of leadership experience/knowledge of Retail Systems including 3-5 years of experience with Digital and Loyalty technology
  • Domain knowledge of POS and payment systems
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and customer service skills
  • Requires good presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, as well as team participation.
  • Must be able to interact with management and team in a remote work environment.
  • Knowledge of application development methodologies and technologies
  • Extensive experience managing large teams
  • Process development skills required to drive continuous improvement both within the team and across the broader organization


  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate computer keyboard for data entry.
  • Ability to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.


The position will require 20-30% travel per month
