POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will provide qualitative and quantitative information to management by researching and analyzing data and preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Analytics or equivalent experience required.
  • Must be an advanced MS Access and MS Excel user (to include VBA).
  • Must possess strong analytical, statistical, and broad mathematical skills.
  • Must be a strong time manager and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be willing to adapt quickly to changing responsibilities.
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of management (to include Sr. Executives).
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides management with planning and control information by assembling and analyzing financial data; developing and maintaining financial models; providing forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions; providing information on results against targets.
  • Maintains records of payables and receivables, reconciles accounts, and makes necessary journal entries. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Evaluates projected financial results of undertaking new projects by analyzing capital expenditure proposals, recommending courses of action.
  • Contribute to budgeting process with trend analysis and economic modeling.
  • Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations; advising management on needed actions.
  • Develops ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops as needed; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; or participating in professional societies.
