RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and report progress on implementation and performance of Marketing programs, to support the sales efforts and results of the Marketing and Ops teams.
  • Responsible to interface with Southeast BU staff to ensure that marketing programs are implemented consistently in the CK franchise stores.
  • Support Franchisees to maximize discounts, rebates and placement allowances by reviewing compliance with all contractual merchandise/display agreements and taking action on opportunities.
  • Ensure financial integrity of Franchisee by reviewing sales analysis or similar reports with Franchisee and FBC; assist Franchisee and FBC in investigating irregularities in profitability, and evaluating Franchisee promotional activities and making improvement recommendations.
  • Increase Franchisee discounts and rebates by monitoring and reviewing monies billed on behalf of Franchise, identifying opportunities and working with the FBC/BSM to communicate to the Franchisee.
  • Maintain competitive pricing position by monitoring pricing activity of competition, evaluating trends and marketing conditions; recommend retail adjustments.
  • Develop partnerships with suppliers by acting as liaison with local product vendors.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new site floorplans with input from various departments.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking best practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional assigned tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in business, retail operations, merchandising and / or marketing.  Convenience store and / or gasoline retailing preferred.
  • Must be computer literate in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access.
