  • Provides day to day work direction to our motor fuel common carriers to insure compliance with Circle K SOP, lifting instructions, load shifting, inventory levels, and arbitrage capture
  • Insures compliance with local, state and federal legal requirements by assisting common carriers during fuel conversion seasons
  • Monitor store level inventories and work with motor fuel common carriers to prevent run outs
  • Resolves transportation and customer service issues by researching and determining the cause and selecting the best solution to solve the problem. Develops corrective action by reviewing and modifying current SOPs
  • Works with Divisional fuel teams to communicate supply options during allocation and weather events
  • Provides guidance and feedback to common carrier dispatch and operational teams to address performance issues
  • Maintains customer relationships and monitors dispatch performance by communicating with both internal and external customers, soliciting feedback on performance
  • Performs system updates to Fuel Dispatch system to insure proper setup parameters, sales trends, supply sources, and tank configurations
  • Utilizes various reporting tools to identify problems and opportunities related to fuel run outs, freight spend, arbitrage capture, and inventory levels
  • Provides after hours coverage for emergencies that are not resolved by support team members
  • Resolves supply and rack issues by researching and determining the cause and selecting the best solution to solve the problem. Works as liaison between carrier, supply and accounting departments to resolve any questions/issues
    QUALIFICATIONS The Ideal candidate will have considerable experience within IT supplier management, procurement and project management. In addition, we expect
  • Bilingual in French or Spanish preferred
  • High school diploma required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; other combinations of job related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted
  • 3 - 5 year experience working in a petroleum dispatch department and/or in heavy trucking industry
  • Must be computer literate in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Requires experience working with TMW Fuel dispatch software or similar
