Circle K is Ireland’s largest Forecourt Retailer with Retail Service Stations across the island of Ireland. 

Title: Barista

Location: Circle K House, Beech Hill Road, Clonskeagh

Principal Objective of Position:

The barista is responsible for the delivery of a fantastic individualised customer experience by applying excellent operational standards in coffee making technique, food handling, preparation and customer service.

Applicant must be passionate about hospitality and committed to provide excellent service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all customers are educated on our products and services.
  • Greets all customers with a fast, friendly personalised service and develops rapport with customers.
  • Maintain the highest quality, consistent product standards.
  • Take the ownership of the food and coffee areas.
  • Take the ownership for collection, daily ordering and maintaining all stock at this location.
  • Maintain and record stock levels for P+L reporting.
  • Assist in care, and maintenance of work areas and equipment.
  • Assist in general cleanliness of the barista, kitchen and canteen area.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to the food safety management system, maintaining HACCP record and participate in food safety audit.
  • Managing and keeping all records, document system, archives up to date.
  • Manage wastage levels and proactively looks for opportunities to reduce.
  • Develop and maintains great working relationships with all staff members.
  • Consult with the line manager team to determine key priorities.
  • Notice potential safety hazard report to the manager on duty.
  • Notice any operational inconsistencies or insufficient operation and report to the manager on duty.
  • Complete tasks on site as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience within a Retail environment at supervisory level or higher.
  • Strong communications skills coupled with business awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven commercial acumen to meet/Exceed objectives and set goals.
  • IT skills (Excel, Word)
