REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma required, AA degree or technical training in business computer systems preferred
  • 3-5 years Help Desk or PC related work experience
  • Proven expertise and efficiency in support of Radiant and VeriFone POS systems, fuel systems, credit systems, Price book systems, RCM fuel configurations, network systems etc….
  • Strong understanding of store systems and operations environments
  • Strong technical back ground with ability to quickly learn new setup processes in various systems
  • Good formatting skills
  • Works well in a small team environment
  • Knowledge in Internet Service Providers, and telephone providers
  • Able to meet deadlines, and able to quickly prioritize actions based on Operational needs and deadlines
  • Ability to follow through on tasks in a timely fashion
  • Ability to build relationships with store personnel
  • Excellent process flow modeling and documentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of problem tracking, ACD systems, and other Help Desk tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills, verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills, leadership skills and customer focus
  • Physical Demands: Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of keyboard/computer.
  • Work requires occasional bending, reaching and lifting/moving up to 35 pounds. Work is subject to significant telephone contact with employees and can be stressful.
  • Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little or no exposure to adverse working conditions. Work may include long hours, weekends, and some holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides timely support to onsite technicians at store locations
  • Analyzes and attempts to resolve issues without further escalation to Retail Systems
  • Performs root-cause analysis using detailed analysis of reported, persistent problems, and work closely with Retail Systems to eliminate problems before they occur
  • Works with Retail Systems, as directed, to support related projects and activities
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned, which can consist of the following
    • The building of the new store in the merchant\credit database (x_credit)
    • The setup for Fuel, Loyalty, Touch buttons & Foodvenience in Radiant Configuration Manager (RCM)
    • The setup of Site Repository
    • The configuration of the fuel controller, site controller, back office PC, and registers for assigned stores
    • Ordering of the register equipment, such as the fuel controller, credit controller, registers, site controller, money order machine, and register pin pads
    • Ordering of the network equipment, and back office PC equipment
    • Ordering of the network service provider, and telephone provider
    • The setup of the new store in the ticketing system
    • Post installation support for 7 days after a store opens
