Job Summary: Opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys working independently and being part of a valuable team within an entrepreneurial culture that is fast-paced and streamlined. Essential Functions:

You will coordinate. own and complete monthly operational reviews

Responsible for the generation of a man power plan for the 3,6 & 12 months. This will include the capacity required to satisfy customer demand. You will support this plan with any assumptions, risks and opportunities and prepare a monthly outlook at each monthly operational review.

Disaster Planning – you will run ‘what if scenarios’ to fully understand the potential impact this might have on capacity, costs, service level to aid business decision making. You will support the “what if scenario” with any key assumptions made, suggest actions how best to cope and improve the scenario and give this data to the relevant operations managers. You will also assist with relevant stakeholders to review best options and implications.

Support the creation of inventory targets to best manage working capital while optimising customer service level and avoiding dead stock challenges.

Develop and generate a DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) – generate a medium/long term DRP in line with supply and work with third party logistics to support creation of optimised logistics solutions.

Prepare documentation to support and play a key role in business decision making around capex requirements, shift patterns changes & overall fleet footprint

Maintain open communication channels and act as a key link for Supply, Procurement, Demand Planning, Fuel Directors (for information on volumes, opportunities & issue resolution.

Support improvement in our planning and scheduling capability through development of tools and apps to best assist them.

Identification of continuous improvement and/or optimisation opportunities within our fleet. With focus areas on service level, labour, man power planning, equipment life cycle, etc.

Produce financial reporting monthly and analysis trends to optimise best practise. Continually improve financial reporting and planning with a focus on the reduction in overall operating cost

Minimum Qualifications /Requirements:

  • 1-year experience preferred in the following Industries:
    • Vacuum, Pump Trucks
    • Commercial Underground Construction
    • Underground Utilities
    • Oil and Gas
    • Waste
    • Pharmaceutical
  • 1 year of real-world technical experience with the following technologies: HTML; CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Power BI.
  • Data Driven
  • Analytical mindset
  • Thinks outside the box
  • Works well in a team but also able to meet deadlines working solo.
  • Dedicated and Self-directed
  • Heavy travel required 60-70%


Education:

  • Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Master’s in Industrial Engineering is preferable.


Other Skills:
 

  • Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft applications and database software, specifically including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
