Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing lease data; preparing monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; point of contact for landlord inquiries and queries regarding percent rent payments


•          Documents financial transactions by entering lease information.  Substantiates financial transactions by auditing lease documents.

•          Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

•          Calculate all CPI adjustments

•          Primary preparer of all batch payments out of lease accounting system, Tango

•          Ensures percentage rent is accurately calculated for payment or accrual on a monthly and annual basis

•          Assist in the integration of systems and procedures

•          Answers lease accounting questions by researching and interpreting lease documents.

•          Maintains accounting controls by following IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley, and internal accounting policies; maintains financial security by following internal controls.

•          Provides assistance and guidance to other analysts within the department

•          Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations.

•          Assist with special projects as needed


•          Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.

•          Four or more years of accounting or property management experience preferred.

•          Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel and Word

•          Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

•          Experience working with accounting applications preferred; PDI, Microsoft Suite and Tango experience desirable.
