Job Description


The Social Media Analyst is responsible supporting and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and emerging channels (e.g. Tik Tok, Reels, etc.).  The successful candidate will have experience collecting and analyzing data related to social media marketing and campaigns, identifying appropriate channels for business objectives and tailoring to target audiences.  This role will be instrumental in providing data-driven insights to support increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand among consumers and strategic partners. 

Essential Responsibilities

1)      Understanding, monitoring, and reporting social media analytics

a.       Track key social media analytics monthly.  Monitors KPIs and provides insights to internal stakeholders (gaps, opportunities)

b.       Track and report website acquisition statistics (using Google Analytics) to evaluate how specific content is performing

c.       Social listening analysis of key themes, sentiment, and engagement

d.       Competitive analysis and monitoring

2)      Scheduling, coordinating and distributing content

a.       Maintain a monthly social media calendar with input from internal stakeholders and external vendor partners

b.       Use of Content Management System to schedule and distribute national content

c.       Repurpose content from other sources for our own social media channels, understanding how to change the tone of the content for each channel (ex: UGC, influencers).

3)      Social Media Engagement Management

a.       Assist with streamlining company social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice within the social communities. 

b.       Track and increase engagement on social channels (growth, retention, interactions, conversions, etc.).

c.       Deploy social giveaways and fulfillment

d.       Ability to identify high performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

4)      Liaison to Internal Stakeholders for Localized Needs

a.      Assist Brand Managers with localized support as needed.

b.      Ensure local content is deployed appropriately.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

•        Bachelor’s Degree required

•        2 years minimum experience in social media marketing with demonstrated success

•        Experience and knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebook Business Manager, IG Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, YouTube Ads Manager) etc. to track audience engagement and campaign performance

•        Experience working with monitoring and publishing tools (ex: Salesforce Social Studios, Hootsuite, Sprout Social)

•        Experience with website analysis tools (Google Analytics) as well as internal reporting tools

•        Proficiency in Microsoft Platforms
