Job Description

Job Summary:

This position supports the Marketing and Operations departments by collecting, processing, and analyzing data to ensure appropriate monitoring and execution of the Suggested Ordering Tools. This person will coordinate functions to maintain the proper workflow of the Suggested Ordering processes. The successful candidate will also support the Marketing Category Managers, and Operations Market Managers with other functions including store layouts, system training, data analysis and reporting as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures accuracy of the PDI Suggested Ordering tool and store orders by ensuring the correct planograms and SKUs are actively assigned to each store in the tool. 
  • Creates import spreadsheets to load the updated planograms/Store Layouts when changes occur.
  • Learn and train the usage of the PDI Focal Point reporting system to help support the Operations and Marketing departments.
  • Analyzes site by site information pertaining to the accuracy of the sets assigned.
  • Maintains delivery schedules in the tool for Wholesaler for each site. 
  • Maintains scan audit calendar and reports on compliance.
  • Supports Operations and Marketing for Wholesaler Reclamation events to ensure proper procedures are followed for changes to the Suggested Ordering tool.
  • Coordinates the implementation of new items the company will sell as well as the removing of old/discontinued items from the system. 
  • Creates and Maintains Sales Forecast Events from input from Operations and Marketing to help maximize sales for these events.
  • Looks for opportunities to improve the process, performance and accuracy of all PDI SA Suggested Ordering Tool related activities.
  • Reviews overall and by category Days on Hand reporting to help optimized working capital inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel as needed.  Including local and across North America.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and/or 1-3 years marketing and/or transferable business experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of PDI Enterprise software including Focal Point and store level PDI Store Assistant.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office.
  • General supply chain knowledge & understanding.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities as described above.
